Andrew Hassett
Chief Executive Officer
Andrew leads Act for Peace into its next chapter, providing organisational leadership and stewarding the organisation’s mission, culture and direction. As Chief Executive Officer, he works alongside partners, churches and supporters to strengthen collective action for peace with justice in a time of unprecedented global displacement.
Andrew brings more than 20 years of experience across international development, advocacy, philanthropy and communications, with a strong track record of leading global and national teams through complexity and change. He has worked with INGO’s, multilateral organisations and the private sector, building multi-stakeholder partnerships and mobilising resources to deliver lasting social impact.
A collaborative and values-driven leader, Andrew is deeply aligned with Act for Peace’s vision of a world where everyone belongs. He brings a strong commitment to dignity, justice and shared humanity, and to building trust through partnership-led action.
Ruthann Richardson
Chief of Engagement
Ruthann leads Act for Peace’s engagement and stewardship work. As Chief of Engagement, she is responsible for the organisation’s relationships with supporters, churches and philanthropic partners, ensuring engagement is grounded in trust, dignity and long-term partnership.
With broad experience across fundraising, communications and organisational change, Ruthann has led Act for Peace through significant transition, shaping a more relational and values-led approach to supporter engagement. Her work focuses on strengthening connections, building sustainable support and ensuring the organisation’s engagement reflects its ecumenical identity and commitment to justice.
Ruthann is deeply aligned with Act for Peace’s vision of a world where everyone belongs, bringing a thoughtful, people-centred approach to leadership and stewardship, with a strong emphasis on integrity, clarity and care for relationships.
Geoff robinson
Chief of Global Solidarity
Geoff leads Act for Peace’s global solidarity work, stewarding relationships with international partners and guiding the organisation’s programmatic and advocacy work. As Chief of Global Solidarity, he is responsible for ensuring Act for Peace works alongside communities and partners in ways that are respectful, accountable and grounded in shared values.
Geoff brings more than 25 years of experience across the humanitarian and development sector, delivering community programs and emergency responses in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. He has worked across private, government and not-for-profit sectors, with a strong focus on social justice, partnership and sustainable development.
Recognised for his collaborative, people-centred approach, Geoff is committed to strengthening partner capability and fostering solidarity that is shaped by trust, humility and long-term impact.
Terry O'Donnell
Chief Operating Officer
Terry is responsible for Act for Peace’s organisational health, governance and operational sustainability. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversees finance, risk, systems and people, ensuring the organisation is well-governed, accountable and equipped to deliver on its purpose.
With more than 15 years of senior leadership experience, Terry brings deep expertise in governance, financial stewardship and leading transformational change. He has worked extensively in the not-for-profit sector, supporting organisations to navigate complexity, strengthen foundations and translate strategic ambition into practical, sustainable outcomes.
Trusted by boards and colleagues alike, Terry is known for his thoughtful, people-centred leadership and his ability to build high-performing teams. He is committed to ensuring Act for Peace operates with integrity and transparency in the service of people displaced by conflict and disaster.
Josie Worner
Head of Philanthropy
Josie leads Act for Peace’s philanthropic engagement, stewarding relationships with supporters who partner deeply in the organisation’s mission. As Head of Philanthropy, she is responsible for cultivating trust-based relationships that enable long-term, values-aligned support for Act for Peace’s work.
Josie brings experience across social, government and education sectors, with a strong background in stakeholder engagement, partnership development and fundraising. Her work focuses on listening deeply, building shared understanding and strengthening our community of supporters to contribute in ways that reflect their values and hopes for change.
Josie is deeply aligned with Act for Peace’s vision of a world where everyone belongs, and approaches philanthropy as a relational practice grounded in dignity, generosity and mutual commitment.
