Connect your faith community with thousands of churches across Australia

At a time when society seems so divided, your kind action is a powerful demonstration of our unity in Christ.

For more than 70 years, Act for Peace – the international aid agency of the National Council of Churches – has brought thousands of churches together to stand in solidarity with people forced from their homes by conflict and disaster.

As an expression of the life of churches in Australia we draw our inspiration from Jesus who demonstrated solidarity with those who were marginalised and oppressed.

“The Christmas Bowl is so important. I think it’s one of the most transparent and reliable ways of helping people overseas. God has been good to us. Thank you Act for Peace for reminding us of one of the most important ministries we can do.”

Rev. Ken Day, St Stephen’s Uniting Church

“Hearing first hand about the work carried out on our behalf encouraged our members to give even more generously… I recommend all congregations think about having a visit from a member of the Act for Peace team.” – Gillian
