Zimbabwe (Christian Care / Zimbabwe Council of Churches)

In drought-affected Zimbabwe, climate change is forcing farmers to adapt as droughts, floods and storms make survival harder.

  1. Pray for farming families facing drought, flood and a changing climate — that God would bless their efforts to grow food and sustain their communities.
  2. Give thanks for the local churches and leaders sharing knowledge and practical support, building resilience and hope.
  3. Pray for lasting peace and justice in Zimbabwe, that all people may flourish with dignity and joy.

Ethiopia (EOC-DICAC – Tesfa Program)

Life as an urban refugee can be overwhelming, with limited opportunities to earn an income.

  1. Pray for refugees in Ethiopia rebuilding their lives through the Tesfa program — that they may find strength, confidence and renewed purpose.
  2. Give thanks for the local teams providing training, mentoring and community support to women who have fled their homes, helping families thrive.
  3. Pray that God would bring peace to the Horn of Africa and comfort to those still separated from home and loved ones.

Jordan (DSPR Jordan – Forsa Youth Program)

Young Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Jordan face many complex challenges, including high unemployment, limited access to quality education, gaps in vocational and life skills, and social barriers that often undermine their confidence and future.

  1. Give thanks for the resilience of young people rebuilding their lives through the Forsa Youth program. Pray that their new skills open doors to meaningful work and stable futures.
  2. Pray for their families as they seek to strengthen their livelihoods and independence after years of displacement.
  3. Pray for the staff of DSPR Jordan, that their compassion and perseverance continue to be a source of hope to the communities they serve.

Indonesia (YCWS – DREAM Program)

In Central Sulawesi, many families have lived through multiple floods that devastated their rice fields and community.

  1. Pray for communities in Indonesia facing the growing impacts of climate change – floods, storms and rising seas – that they may find safety and stability.
  2. Give thanks for local leaders teaching climate-smart farming and disaster preparedness, helping families adapt and protect their livelihoods.
  3. Pray that governments and communities across the region act together to care for creation and protect the most vulnerable.

Pakistan (Community World Service Asia – Education & Health Programs)

In drought-affected Umerkot, Pakistan, girls often lack access to school.

  1. Pray for girls and young women gaining access to education through the Christmas Bowl, that they may be empowered to learn, lead and dream boldly.
  2. Give thanks for parents who are championing education and change in their communities.
  3. Pray for equal opportunity and dignity for all people in Pakistan, especially those living in poverty or displacement.

Gaza (Local partners / Christian Aid)

The conflict in Gaza has destroyed homes and vital infrastructure, leaving families without water, sanitation or safety.

  1. Pray for the families of Gaza enduring conflict, loss and displacement, that they may know God’s comfort, protection and peace.
  2. Give thanks for the courage of local partners providing medical care, clean water and shelter amid devastation.
  3. Pray for a just and lasting peace in the Holy Land, that all people may live in safety, dignity and hope.
