By working in partnership with local people on the ground, we respond rapidly to emergency situations, protecting and saving lives when disaster strikes. Your support is also helping vulnerable communities across the world through long-term development projects, giving people the skills and knowledge they need to support and protect themselves.

Through the ACT Alliance we have partners on the ground in 130 countries, enabling us to respond immediately to emergencies wherever they occur.

Your support is currently helping to deliver life-saving assistance to people in three emergency situations.

Jordan: Today, there are over 660,000 Syrian refugees in Jordan, all of them suffering from the lack of the most basic requirements for survival. Your gift helps fund the work of our local partner, who are providing people with desperately need food, medical assistance and vital support to rebuild their shattered lives.

Bangladesh: Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya families have fled to Bangladesh to escape brutal persecution and violence. You’re providing them with urgently needed food rations, medical care and shelter, and ensuring children traumatised by war have a safe environment to learn and play.
