Myanmar Earthquake Appeal

Help provide urgent humanitarian assistance for those affected by the Myanmar earthquake.
On 28 March, a powerful magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck Myanmar sending strong tremors across neighbouring countries including Thailand, India, Laos, Bangladesh and China.
Tragically, many have lost their lives with more remaining trapped under the rubble.
Myanmar’s government has declared a state of emergency across six regions as widespread damage to buildings and infrastructure continues to unfold.
The earthquake comes on top of an already desperate situation. Myanmar is now in its fourth year of escalating conflict, with millions of people already displaced multiple times.
Act for Peace Head of Programs and Partnerships, Geoff Robinson says:
“Myanmar remains one of the world’s least developed nations. Even before this devastating earthquake, ongoing conflict and displacement had already left many in desperate need.”
Please give now. Our long-term partners in the region are on the ground right now, assessing the situation and preparing to provide urgent assistance, including food, shelter and other lifesaving support.
Every prayer and every act of generosity brings hope to those affected by this crisis.
Please, act for peace today because everyone deserves a place to belong.
