Gaza Emergency Appeal

Help provide vital humanitarian assistance and protection to civilians in Gaza

Gaza emergency, please give urgently.

Tens of thousands of lives have been lost and over 1.9 million* people forcibly displaced in the war in Gaza. Nearly the entire population lacks access to shelter, food, medical services, clean water, education and income. The longer the conflict continues, the more the needs grow at an alarming rate as disease spreads and 2.2 million people are at risk of starvation.

Being committed to acting for peace means being present in the world’s darkest places, during people’s greatest hour of need. Places like war-torn Gaza where people don’t have a safe place to belong.

Please give today to help our local partner provide lifesaving medical care and to help respond to this unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

Since October 2023, there have been relentless attacks on Gaza, including homes, hospitals, clinics, and churches. The numbers of people killed and injured continue to rise each day.

We continue to stand with our long-term partners, the Near East Council of Churches (NECC) and Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees (DSPR), who, despite their own individual losses are working tirelessly to provide vital humanitarian assistance and protection to the civilians of Gaza.

Our staff, we call them our heroes, because they’re working and they need security and support themselves … but they are jeopardising their security and their family life, to come and help and serve the community who are living in this unprecedented situation,” says DSPR’s Executive Director, Nader Abu Amsha.

DSPR’s medical teams are working under incredibly difficult conditions. Forced to flee with their own families under airstrikes and artillery shells, they continue to treat survivors and provide nutrition packs to starving women and children through mobile medical clinics.

The healthcare system in Gaza is under enormous strain. The World Health Organization (WHO) has registered more than 1,000 attacks on healthcare facilities since the conflict started**

Please give urgently today and help respond to this humanitarian crisis.

“The world can’t relax while people are dying every minute. Every minute. Every 10 minutes there is a child killed in Gaza.”
“I want to express my gratitude to you and all our supporters. Your care, concern, and generosity are not just bringing back hope but are making a real difference in the lives of those affected by this crisis. Your solidarity reflects shared values of justice, compassion, and the fundamental right to live with dignity.”
Nader, Executive Secretary, DSPR
