A farmer’s starter kit will plant more than seeds of hope for struggling farmers in Zimbabwe. Farmers will be given drought resistant seeds and training to help produce nourishing food and a source of income.

Farmers in Zimbabwe are extremely vulnerable to the dry, harsh conditions of droughts making it difficult to produce crops. Your gift will provide farmers with a starter pack of drought-resistant seeds. At the same time, our partners will train farmers in new ways of keeping their soil moist and protecting it from erosion.
These crops provide essential food for rural farming communities. Your gift will help farmers learn how to manage their crops and land effectively, even when rainfall is scarce.
“We now have much better crops and excess produce to sell and help us look after our families.”
- Shami, Zimbabwe
